Seyfarth Earns Top Tier Rankings from Legal 500 in 2017

The Legal 500 - The Clients Guide to Law Firms

The 2017 edition of The Legal 500 United States recommends 95 Seyfarth Shaw lawyers across the country in 14 different practice areas. Seyfarth was ranked “Top Tier” in the Intellectual Property - Trade Secrets, Labor and Employment - Immigration, Labor and Employment - Labor-Management Relations, and Labor and Employment - Workplace and Employment Counseling categories.

Nationally, Seyfarth practices were also recommended in 10 practice areas including Healthcare: Service Providers, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation, ERISA Litigation, Labor and Employment Litigation, M&A: Middle-Market, Technology: Data Protection and Privacy, Construction, Real Estate, Securities Litigation and Domestic Tax.

Based on specific feedback from corporate counsel, nine Seyfarth partners were honored among the country’s “Leading Lawyers” this year, and they include Michael Wexler (Trade Secrets), Angelo Paparelli (Immigration), Russell Swapp (Immigration), Gerald Maatman (Labor and Employment Litigation), Camille Olson (Labor and Employment Litigation), William Perkins (Workplace and Employment Counseling), David Baffa (Workplace and Employment Counseling), Suzanne Saxman (M&A - Middle-Market), and Bennett Greenberg (Construction).

Notably, four Seyfarth partners were inducted into the 2017 Legal 500 Hall of Fame, and they include Angelo Paparelli (Immigration), William Perkins (Workplace and Employment Counseling), David Baffa (Workplace and Employment Counseling), and Bennett Greenberg (Construction). The Legal 500 Hall of Fame highlights individuals who have received constant praise by their clients for continued excellence. Fewer than 500 partners across the entire United States have made it into the inaugural list.
