Andrew E. Shiner is a partner in the downtown Los Angeles office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. A partner in the firm's Real Estate department, Mr. Shiner handles a variety of commercial real estate transactions for financial institutions, insurance companies, pension funds, private equity investors and other companies, including purchases and sales of office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, industrial properties, apartment buildings, other commercial properties and vacant land; commercial real estate secured transactions, including permanent, construction and securitized mortgage loans, joint venture and mezzanine financing, loan assumptions, workouts and restructurings; and all aspects of due diligence.

In addition, Mr. Shiner assists clients in the organization, formation and restructuring of various business entities, including special purpose and bankruptcy remote entities.
