Her practice concentrates on commercial litigation with an emphasis in litigation relating to the insurance industry.  She handles actions involving agent/broker liability, insurance coverage, and various carrier and agent issues within the life insurance industry.  She defends clients against various claims related to the insurance industry including negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, bad faith allegations, violations of the Texas Insurance Code, and violations of Texas’ Deceptive Trade Practices Act, just to name a few.

She also has experience in bankruptcy and handles matters representing large and small creditors, with knowledge of the best avenues to recovery within the confines of the Bankruptcy Code. Her experience with bankruptcy allowed her to be involved in appeals to the Fifth Circuit asking the court to examine unique bankruptcy questions. 

She regularly enforces lenders’ rights relative to commercial secured transactions and has performed numerous foreclosures and handled other enforcement actions with favorable results for the client.
