Chris Truxler is an associate in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Sacramento office. He counsels and represents employers in all aspects of employment-related litigation and traditional labor law including wage and hour class actions and employment discrimination claims. Mr. Truxler has represented companies from a variety of industries in state and federal court and before various government agencies.

Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Mr. Truxler worked for another large law firm specializing in employment law. He also spent several years as a federal judicial law clerk in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he clerked for the Honorable Cam Ferenbach, U.S. Magistrate Judge, the Honorable Jennifer A. Dorsey, U.S. District Judge, and the Honorable Andrew P. Gordon, U.S. District Judge. He received his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2011, where he was awarded Best Brief in the first-year moot court competition and served as an editor of the Environmental Law journal.

Before entering law school, Mr. Truxler studied and lived abroad, completing the coursework towards a Ph.D in twentieth-century continental philosophy.
