Mr. Knight is an associate in the San Francisco office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP.  A member of the Labor & Employment department, his practice includes representing management in all categories of labor and employment matters, with primary emphasis on the defense of wage and hour class actions and harassment and discrimination suits.

Mr. Knight has had significant involvement in the representation of major technology companies including Sun Microsystems (now Oracle Corporation), Intel, and Flextronics International, and has brought his expertise to several wage and hour matters involving technical workers at other national employers.  Since entering practice, he has litigated numerous cases to advantageous settlements or dismissal, and has represented clients to favorable outcomes before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, California Court of Appeal, various superior and district courts throughout California, and in administrative matters before the DFEH, EEOC, Cal/OSHA, and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.

While in law school, Mr. Knight served as an intern with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and as a law clerk with the Employment Law Group at Sun Microsystems.  He previously worked as a Financial Analyst at Braddock Financial Corporation, ranked by Bloomberg as the highest-performing fixed-income hedge fund for three consecutive years from 2003 through 2005.
