Mr. Evans is an associate in the Real Estate practice group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP whose practice concentrates on representing members of the lending community in connection with real estate finance matters, workouts and restructurings. Throughout the current economic downturn, Mr. Evans’ work has focused on counseling lender, servicer and borrower clients in connection with distressed assets. Prior to the downturn, his work emphasized the structuring and closing of mortgage and mezzanine loan transactions for securitization in the capital markets, as well as interim/bridge, construction and permanent loan transactions across the United States.  Mr. Evans’ experience also includes the representation of institutional investors in the purchase and sale of mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, B-Notes and participation interests in whole loans.
