Biography
Mr. Ross is a former managing partner of the New York office. He represents companies in numerous manufacturing and service industries in virtually every area of labor and employment law, and has extensive litigation experience pertaining to ERISA, EEO, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Veteran’s Re-Employment Act, OSHA, the Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification Act (WARN), and matters involving state statutes governing individual employment rights and benefits.
Mr. Ross has three decades of experience representing numerous national corporations in complex employment matters, which has earned him recognition as one of the leading employment lawyers in the country. He is one of the leaders of the firm's Complex Employment Discrimination Practice Group, specializing in class action and multi-state matters, particularly involving complex scientific and statistical evidence and expert testimony. In the latter capacity, David currently shares lead counsel role in defense of FLSA and class action discrimination cases for Fortune 500 companies on some of the most important disparate impact cases and FLSA cases pending in the country. He is also currently one of the leaders of the firm's Securities Employment Law Group, having successfully tried dozens of cases before the NASD (now known as FINRA) and NYSE, and defended numerous FLSA and employment law cases in state and federal courts throughout the country.
