Mr. Greenstein is a real estate partner who specializes in cooperative and condominium law. He has developed a special expertise through his representation of cooperative and condominium boards throughout the metropolitan New York City area. Mr. Greenstein served as a member of the New York State Bar Association's liaison committee with the Department of Law (Attorney General's Office) on co-op and condo conversions and as a member of the New York State Bar Association, was one of the draftsmen of the widely used 1989 form contract of sale for cooperative apartments. Mr. Greenstein has successfully mediated disputes involving real estate, cooperatives and condominium law. Mr. Greenstein also has successfully represented numerous cooperatives in workouts with banks and defaulting sponsors.
