Dustin advises on the deployment of portfolio and matter management tools that provide a foundation for meaningful attorney-client partnerships. As the firm's client engagement manager and a solutions consultant, this often takes the form of assisting with new or enhanced portfolio standups and optimization of the process, project management, technology, and data solutions the firm offers. He also keeps an eye and an ear open for other ways to augment the firm's service delivery for clients, be it through offering assistance from another wing of the firm or advising on bespoke consulting solutions.

Dustin's understanding of the practice of law and its operations is profoundly informed by the Seyfarth view of client service. His approach, placing a premium on service delivery and client experience, paired with business of law tools, is second nature. He maintains touchpoints with Seyfarth's practice offerings firm-wide, including its service delivery toolkit. Dustin can diagnose what his clients need and liaise to get the appropriate solutions implemented. He aims to complement legal services with legal business excellence.

Dustin has been privileged to work with several of the firm's most valued portfolio relationships at various stages of their lifecycle, from inception to maintenance. These have included conversations with more than 150 different clients on a range of topics within the subject of portfolio management. Each discussion has only better informed him as to what clients need and what they want in their legal service providers.

Dustin is proud that Seyfarth is always thinking about ways to reengineer service delivery. He works closely with the firm's Lean Solutions and Seyfarth Labs groups, partnering with other business of law professionals whose day-to-day is focused on making clients' lives easier while the firm affords sophisticated advice, counsel, and representation. In this space, Dustin offers problem-solving that is "outside the box" and borne of true problem-solving and creative thinking. It's an exciting and invigorating way to participate in the delivery of legal services.

The most rewarding part of Dustin's job is getting to interface with clients, listen to them, and figure out how to engage and make their lives better or easier through Seyfarth services. Whether face-to-face, through a web demonstration, or via a simple phone call, he genuinely enjoys explaining to clients how he can help them and then strategizing to make his plan a reality.
