More About Dan

Dan has a robust practice with extensive trial experience as lead counsel defending clients in individual and class action lawsuits in federal and state courts alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, unlawful business practices, exempt/non-exempt and employee/contractor classifications, defamation, fraud, negligence, breach of contract, infliction of emotional stress, and ERISA violations. Additionally, he represents employers before the Department of Labor, National Labor Relations Board, and in charges before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and other government agencies.

Dan also advises and counsels clients on a wide range of matters ranging from personnel policies, employee handbooks, commission and bonus plans to wage and hour compliance, disability accommodation, and workforce management issues. He works with companies and employers to implement reductions in force and protecting trade secrets.

He counsels and represents employers from various industries, including software, media, financial, consulting, security, professional services, maritime ship repair, retail, food and beverage, recreational resorts, e-commerce, and wineries. 

Dan has lectured for several employer oriented groups, including the Council On Education In Management, Chamber Of Commerce and Practicing Law Institute, on a variety of topics, including electronic monitoring, wage/work compliance, and leave law obligations.
