Biography

Mr. Glaser is a partner in the New York office practicing in the area of labor and employment law and trade secrets litigation. He represents a broad base of clients in all aspects of labor and employment relations law and related litigation, including wrongful discharge, sexual and other harassment, and age, race, national origin, religious, sex and disability discrimination. He also counsels and represents clients in litigation on noncompete/restrictive covenant/trade secrets issues; wage and hour issues; WARN; employment and non-compete agreements; human resources policies and procedures; management training regarding sexual harassment and other EEO and labor law issues.  In addition, he advises clients on strategic labor and employment issues that have an impact on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate reorganizations. Mr. Glaser also has extensive experience handling the complete range of union-management issues, both in the context of conducting labor negotiations and arbitrations, by representing clients before the NLRB, and in advising clients on the maintenance of a union-free environment.  In this latter context, he also has extensive experience representing and defending clients in response to union “corporate campaigns”.

Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Mr. Glaser spent eighteen years practicing labor and employment law and litigation with three major New York law firms. He also served as a field attorney with the Boston regional office of the National Labor Relations Board; he still maintains an active practice in Massachusetts as well.
