Ms. Roh advises qualified retirement and welfare plans in all aspects of administration, including fiduciary responsibility, benefit claims and procedures, third-party provider contracts, government filings, preemption, subrogation, withdrawal liability, and merger issues. Ms. Roh assists clients in drafting plan documents and amendments, summary plan descriptions, and participant communications in compliance with federal law (such as the Pension Protection Act, HIPAA, COBRA, and USERRA).  Ms. Roh regularly conducts due diligence in connection with pension fund investments in private equity and hedge fund investments.  She also regularly reviews the validity of estate planning documents in connection with benefit claims, and reviews qualified domestic relations orders and plan joinder requests.  Ms. Roh participates in the firm’s pro bono program.
