Jake Campbell is an attorney in the Immigration Practice Group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Atlanta office.

Mr. Campbell has substantial experience in drafting complex responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), Requests for Consideration and Review and Appeals to the Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals (BALCA). Mr. Campbell advises multinational and national companies on nonimmigrant compliance and strategy, including B-1, E-1/2/3, F-1, H-1B, J-1, O-1 and TN.  In addition, he advises employers and foreign nationals on immigrant visas, including PERM labor certification applications, EB-1 (extraordinary ability, outstanding researcher/professor and international manager petitions) and EB-2/3. He has also conducted internal I-9 audits and trained employers on I-9 compliance.

During law school, Mr. Campbell worked full-time at Seyfarth Shaw LLP and a global labor and employment firm. In law school, he served as a student attorney and represented an LGBT asylum applicant from Jamaica and reviewed pro-bono naturalization cases. He also has prepared and filed pro-bono Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) cases. Mr. Campbell received numerous awards in law school, including the CALI Awards in Lawyering: Practice Ready Writing and Lawyering: Advocacy (Litigation).
