More About Jim
Top-tier employers source talent globally, and the immigration landscape is increasingly challenging. As co-chair of the Immigration group, Jim connects the appropriate Seyfarth client team with the right technology components to deliver customized immigration management programs that position employers to access global talent pools efficiently, and in alignment with their talent acquisition goals.
Jim has practiced business immigration law for nearly 35 years. In addition to his immigration portfolio management work, Jim collaborates with Seyfarth's Immigration Compliance & Enforcement group to assist clients with I-9 compliance, E-Verify, social security mismatch letters, and related issues.
As someone who has lived and worked in foreign countries, Jim knows how stressful it can be to relocate internationally. With this understanding, he creates immigration portfolio management programs that are clear, straightforward, and comprehensive for both his clients and their affected employees. Jim is also conversationally fluent in French and German.
At Seyfarth, Jim enjoys the challenge of deploying leading technologies to deliver highly satisfying employee immigration experiences at competitive costs using scalable resources with extras—such as data-driven decisioning and fulsome program reporting—for global mobility and talent acquisition management.
