More About Joe

Joseph focuses his practice on intellectual property procurement, enforcement, and licensing. Joseph’s experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, post-grant review, litigation support and opinions regarding infringement analysis, patent validity, and freedom to operate. He also focuses his practice on establishing patent incentive programs and policies, designing patent prosecution programs, preparing and negotiating patent license agreements, and IP due diligence review and opinions. He has worked with diverse technologies including IC design and fabrication, electronic packaging, voltage regulator circuits, power systems, nonvolatile memory devices, RF front-end module circuits for mobile platform devices, processor and chipset architecture, compilers, computer hardware and software, computer networks, computer graphics, consumer electronics, cryptography, data mining, and digital and wireless communications.

Previously, Joseph worked as a Senior Software Engineer in the information technology branch of the largest managed care organization in the United States.

Joseph is a member of the Mexican American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association and ProVisors. He is also fluent in Spanish.
