Biography
Ms. Janardhan is an associate in the Litigation Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Ms. Janardhan represents clients in a wide range of areas, including motor vehicle dealer disputes, trade secret misappropriation, consumer fraud and breach of contract. Her experience includes representing clients in state and federal courts across the country and in administrative proceedings. In addition to litigating cases, Ms. Janardhan regularly counsels motor vehicle manufacturers on compliance with state and federal motor vehicle dealer laws.
Ms. Janardhan is a member of the Firm’s Pro Bono and Go-Green Committees and is on the National Leadership Team of the Seyfarth Women’s Network. Ms. Janardhan served as a Vice-President of the Indian American Bar Association of Chicago (IABA) from 2008-2010, and she currently chairs the Association’s pro bono legal aid clinic at the Indo-American Center. As part of her pro bono practice, Ms. Janardhan has successfully represented clients in obtaining public benefits and legal status under the Violence Against Women Act. In 2009, Ms. Janardhan was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Ms. Janardhan served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Stephen M. Limon of the Boston Juvenile Court. In 2004 she co-founded the Boston College South Asian Law Students Association.
