Kiran practices appellate law, with a particular focus on employment, wage and hour, and class action issues. Kiran also represents international organizations in complex litigation involving protection and enforcement of their immunities.

As part of Seyfarth’s Appellate team, Kiran has extensive experience briefing appeals and writs in federal and state appellate courts, and has argued dozens of appeals, including before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the California courts of appeal. Her appellate work includes post-trial motions, merits briefing, petitions for discretionary review, and amicus briefing on issues of first impression in such diverse areas as wage and hour law, class certification, CAFA removal, employment discrimination, workers’ compensation, arbitration, whistleblower claims, contractual and tort claims, and commercial disputes. Kiran’s appellate work is also informed by her significant experience representing employers in single plaintiff and class action litigation involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues.
Kiran is also part of the firm’s International Organizations and Foreign Sovereigns team. Her practice includes litigating significant cases of first impression in the D.C. Circuit and district court regarding the immunities of international organizations, and representing international organizations before administrative tribunals.
Following graduation from law school, Kiran was law clerk to the Honorable Lourdes G. Baird, US District Court, Central District of California, from 2000 to 2001.
Kiran is also part of the firm’s International Organizations and Foreign Sovereigns team. Her practice includes litigating significant cases of first impression in the D.C. Circuit and district court regarding the immunities of international organizations, and representing international organizations before administrative tribunals.
Following graduation from law school, Kiran was law clerk to the Honorable Lourdes G. Baird, US District Court, Central District of California, from 2000 to 2001.
