Ms. Barnett is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Her practice specializes in both the corporate and real estate aspects of project finance. She represents public and private corporations as well as local governments and development authorities. Ms. Barnett’s practice includes both conventional and public finance, the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial real estate, structuring and organizing new business entities, and the use of state and local incentives to promote business location and expansion in the State of Georgia.

As a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, Ms. Barnett is listed in the “Red Book” directory of nationally recognized bond lawyers. She represents a number of public authorities that issue bonds in Georgia. As bond counsel, she has closed finance transactions amounting to billions of dollars. From 2009 – 2011, four transactions that Ms. Barnett was involved in received “Deal of the Year” awards from the Georgia Economic Developers Association.
