Ms. Blair is an associate in the Intellectual Property, Construction and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where she has practiced since 2006. Her practice focuses on complex civil, intellectual property, and construction litigation.

Ms. Blair has provided litigation support in complex patent, trademark and copyright litigation matters, including in the successful defense of infringement claims brought against clients in federal courts and before the International Trade Commission. She has experience in the prosecution of patent and trademark applications, analyzing patent claims and prosecution histories, and developing infringement and non-infringement positions. She has also counseled clients regarding the protection of their intellectual property assets and the effect of computer and Internet-related issues on their businesses.

Ms. Blair’s litigation experience extends to matters involving construction, engineering, securities, banking, and bankruptcy issues. Specifically, in the area of construction law, she has represented owners, contractors and subcontractors in all types of projects dealing with design defects, delay claims, and payment and performance issues. She serves as the Co-Chairperson of the Legal Issues Committee for Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston, advising members of developments in legal authority affecting the construction industry.

Ms. Blair is actively involved in her professional and social communities. She has represented clients in pro bono matters, including work with Child Advocates, Kids In Need of Defense, and the Tahirih Justice Center. She serves on the Board of Texas Women Lawyers, and as a member of the Firm’s Pro Bono Committee and Women’s National Leadership Team. She regularly blogs on the status of cybersecurity legislation and gives presentations as a founding associate of The Cloud Coalition.
