05/02/2008
Erik Rodriguez was highlighted in the Fulton County Daily Report (Atlanta) for receiving the paper’s first-ever pro bono award for consumer advocacy.
The Daily Report held its first-ever pro bono awards on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 to honor some of the Atlanta lawyers who give their time to those who need legal services but can't afford a lawyer. The paper noted, “Erik S. Rodriguez of Seyfarth Shaw won the consumer advocacy award for, among other cases, his work representing a hit-and-run victim and a family sold a termite-infested house.” [With regard to the latter case, Erik represented a Mexican family that was sold a termite-infested house. The family includes a paraplegic daughter who could not use her room because of the termite damage.]
