Rabia Reed is an associate in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Sacramento office. Her practice includes a variety of single-plaintiff and class action litigation where she works with clients in differing industries to find practical solutions to problems. She has assisted in defending employers from lawsuits alleging wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations and other related employment issues.

Ms. Reed joined the firm as a part of the Sacramento Diversity program and Seyfarth’s Summer Fellowship program. Through both programs she was able to develop legal skills including document drafting, reviewing, and policy revisions.

Prior to attending law school in the United States, Ms. Reed attended school in Scotland where she completed a dual major degree in International Relations and Law. As a part of her legal training at the University of Edinburgh, Ms. Reed completed courses in negotiations, Scottish law, European Union law, and English law.

Ms. Reed is fluent in Norwegian, work proficient in Danish and Swedish, lightly conversational in Brazilian Portuguese.
