Regina M. Grattan is a member of the Labor & Employment Department and OFCCP & Affirmative Action Compliance Team in the Sacramento office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP.  Ms. Grattan devotes most of her time to Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) compliance, affirmative action, pay equity, and workplace diversity.  Ms. Grattan works with federal contractors and subcontractors in connection with OFCCP compliance evaluations, including pre-compliance review and analysis of data, from desk audits through onsite evaluations and off-site reviews.  Ms. Grattan also assists clients with the development of affirmative action programs; assists clients with creating legally-compliant recruiting, selection, applicant tracking, pre-employment testing, performance management, compensation, and other employment processes and procedures; and provides preventive counseling with respect to other federal contractor obligations arising under Executive Order 11246, the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, the Rehabilitation Act, and other laws and regulations applicable to federal contractors.  In addition, Ms. Grattan also supports clients on day-to-day issues involving labor and employment law, including employment discrimination, disability discrimination, age-discrimination, reductions-in-force, WARN, and policy and procedure development.

Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Ms. Grattan worked as Litigation Counsel for an international medical and pharmaceutical device manufacturer.  In this role, Ms. Grattan provided a wide variety of employment-related legal services to the company and its business units throughout the United States and abroad, including employee relations counseling and investigations, OFCCP compliance, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, drafting and implementation of company policy, preparation and presentation of management and employee training, assistance with acquisitions and reductions-in-force, as well as defense and management of employment litigation.  In addition, Ms. Grattan was the attorney responsible for the company's Electronic Data Discovery and Global Document Management program. 

Ms. Grattan has spoken at conferences and seminars, and published articles on electronic data discovery and global document management.  Ms. Grattan has also been published on other topics such as the protection and expansion of rights for gay and lesbian high school students, and the ability of recipients of social security disability benefits to also apply for ADA benefits.  In addition, Ms. Grattan has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at The George Washington University Law School, teaching a course in Legal Research & Writing.
