Mr. McFadden is an associate in the Labor and Employment Department in the San Francisco office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Mr. McFadden’s practice concentrates on all aspects of labor and employment law, including wage & hour, discrimination, retaliation, and employer counseling.  Mr. McFadden is a member of Seyfarth Shaw’s Class Action, Retail and Hospitality and Employer Counseling practice groups where he assists sophisticated clients from a diverse array of industries, including technology, transportation, education, retail, hospitality, and restaurants.  He has extensive experience with exempt employee misclassification and independent contractor cases, workplace investigations, and employment-related tort and contract claims.

Mr. McFadden graduated from the Santa Clara University School of Law as a member of the Dean’s List.  In law school, Mr. McFadden was the Director of the Honors Moot Court Board, recognized as the runner-up for the best brief award as a competitor in the Honors Moot Court competition, and selected as an “outstanding oral advocate.”  He also received the CALI award in spring 2008 for earning the highest grade in his Remedies course and volunteered at a employment law clinic where he counseled clients on discrimination and wage & hour laws.

Prior to law school, Mr. McFadden earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003.
