People: Ryan Malloy, Associate
Biography
Mr. Malloy is an associate in the Litigation Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including the representation of corporations and their officers and directors in securities, business, and bankruptcy-related litigation. Mr. Malloy also represents companies and executives in consumer financial services disputes, non-compete and trade secrets cases, product and premises liability actions, and breach of contract disputes. He has experience representing clients in all stages of litigation, from initial pleading through trial and appeals.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Mr. Malloy gained experience as a law clerk and summer associate with Seyfarth Shaw, and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Geoffrey M. Alprin in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Mr. Malloy served on the Executive Board of The George Washington University Law School Mock Trial Board and worked as a research assistant for Visiting Associate Professor Lawton Cummings. He also participated in the Consumer Mediation and Community Dispute Resolution Clinics at George Washington University.
Mr. Malloy is an active member of the Massachusetts LGTBQ Bar Association and an attorney volunteer with Discovering Justice, a Boston-based education non-profit. In 2010 Mr. Malloy traveled to Haiti with the Global Volunteer Network to assist with earthquake relief efforts.
