Biography
Ms. Knight is an associate in the Chicago office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. She focuses her practice on eDiscovery issues including electronic document preservation, production, review, and spoliation. Her litigation experience includes developing cost-effective strategies for the preservation, collection, review, and production of electronically stored information in large class and collective actions. She has also assisted clients in responding to requests from government agencies in administrative investigations/actions.
In addition to litigation, Ms. Knight counsels clients on other information governance issues including, among others, computer forensics, records and information management, information security/cyber security, and international and domestic data privacy issues. She has advised a broad range of clients from small companies to large corporations in developing policies and practices regarding bring your own PC/mobile device programs, retention of electronic records, litigation preparedness, social media use and discovery, and computer use policy and training.
