Shomaice is an associate in the Australian Labour, Employment & Safety practice of Seyfarth Shaw. 

Covering the spectrum of employee-employer relations, Shomaice is experienced with matters involving employment and post-employment obligations and disputes, executive employment arrangements, workplace investigations, discrimination and harassment claims, terminations and redundancy implementation, enterprise bargaining and strategic industrial advice.  

Shomaice also assist clients with compliance in relation to their work health and safety obligations and the regulatory processes that can occur in response to an incident and coronial inquests if they arise from an incident. 

Shomaice has specialist expertise in matters involving workplace bullying across the employment and safety space and in assisting clients with managing the multi-jurisdictional risk that arises when instances of workplace bullying occur.

Throughout her career, Shomaice has worked on transactional, advisory and litigious matters across various industries including construction and major projects, rail, maritime, mining, retail, banking and finance, government and insurance. 

Shomaice has acted for clients in commercial disputes which have proceeded to litigation, arbitration, expert determination, adjudication and mediation, and has appeared as an advocate before various tribunals and courts, including the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Federal Court of Australia.
