People: Tamaron Houston, Associate
Biography
Ms. Houston is a managing associate in the Real Estate Practice Group in the Atlanta office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. She practices in the areas of general real estate/real estate finance, with an emphasis on commercial mortgage loan originations, securitizations, the acquisitions and dispositions of commercial and multifamily real property. She also has experience representing lenders in connection with mortgage loan portfolios and master and special servicers in connection with distressed assets and the related exercise of remedies and workouts. Ms. Houston regularly advises clients in numerous secured transactions and credit financings, including loan restructuring, mezzanine and subordinate financings.
While in law school, Ms. Houston clerked for the NAACP legal department in Houston, Texas and studied international banking and finance in England at the University of Nottingham.
