Please join us at the 2010 Annual Seminar for Corporate Counsel, September 24 - 26, 2010 at the Temecula Creek Inn, for 7.25 hrs MCLE credit (including 1.25 hrs elimination of bias credit and 1 hr ethics credit), plus networking and fun!  Enjoy golf, tennis, spa and other resort amenities, wine tasting, sightseeing, nearby shopping outlets, and/or other local attractions such as the nearby Pechanga Resort & Casino and the not too distant San Diego Wild Animal Park. Come alone or bring your spouse/family. This is a great opportunity to learn and network in a relaxing, fun environment.

The seminar will begin with registration at noon on Friday. Session 1 starts on Friday at 1:30 p.m. and offers 3 hours of MCLE. The program continues on Saturday morning with breakfast and Session 2, providing 3.25 hours of additional MCLE.

Following leisure time on your own Saturday afternoon, join us for a unique and exciting dinner program opening with Dennis Codon, Partner at Blank Rome LLP and former General Counsel of UNOCAL.  Dennis will provide his perspectives, as a former oil and gas industry insider, regarding compliance issues raised by the Gulf oil spill and the role of the inhouse lawyer in handling major corporate crises.

Dennis will introduce our featured speakers, filmmakers Josh Tickell and Rebecca Harrell Tickell, who recently returned from the Gulf oil spill. The Tickells will share thoughts about their trip and provide an exclusive sneak peek of footage from their upcoming short “SPILL,” as well as clips from their award winning documentary “FUEL” (winner of the Documentary Audience Award at the esteemed Sundance Film Festival).  Released in theaters this past June, “FUEL” provides a compelling look at alternatives to petroleum-based energy sources. The weekend's speakers will also include Seyfarth partners Michael Zweiback and Kevin Lesinski, who will offer insight on handling whistleblowers and other ethical dilemmas.
