Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Health Law practice group and the Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy at Loyola University Chicago School of Law are co-sponsoring a breakfast briefing for in-house counsel, risk managers, and senior human resources executives. The briefing will cover legal issues relating to relationships between physicians and health care organizations.
The three broad topics that will be addressed in this 90-minute program are:

Physician compensation trends, such as fair market value and pay for performance

Employment law issues arising with the employed physician, including misclassification as independent contractors, managing the impaired/disruptive physician, and discipline and termination
