Please join us for a breakfast briefing at which members of our Business Immigration Group will discuss the latest trends in I-9 and E-Verify employment verification, as well as updates on USCIS policy and decision-making for Nonimmigrant and Immigrant visa sponsorship.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s and the Department of Labor’s continued emphasis has required employers to become more vigilant in ensuring that their I-9 processes are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. In addition, the government’s E-Verify employment verification system has become mandatory for Federal contractors, as well as for employers in several states that mandate the use of E-Verify. Finally, employers who sponsor foreign national employees need to be aware of increased scrutiny in adjudications from USCIS.

  • I-9 Enforcement Trends
