The number of lawsuits filed under Title III of the ADA and state non-discrimination laws alleging that that public accommodations' websites are not accessible to users with disabilities continues to surge as more plaintiffs and attorneys enter the arena on a weekly basis. In this program, our presenters, who have collectively handled hundreds of website accessibility matters, will address what an accessible website entails, the legal bases and theories driving the surge of for these lawsuits, the current litigation and regulatory landscape, strategies for responding to a website accessibility lawsuit, and what businesses should be doing now about their websites.
