Immigration Reform remains a hotly contested topic for all political parties. This election year, the presidential candidates have all proposed ambitious plans for how their administrations would work to reform our “broken” immigration system. Political propaganda aside, how will the election results impact U.S. employers and their ability to navigate government policy?  What do the election results mean for you and your employees?

Please join us on Wednesday, November 14th as we discuss the looming landscape for immigration law, and offer updates on the following:

  • Current backlogs in green card processing
  • Policies for “conversion” from EB-3 to EB-2 and EB-1
  • Expansion of E-Verify

We’ll also offer a brief overview on why every employer should be concerned about Canadian immigration policies – even if you don’t have a presence in Canada, including:

  • Business visitors: what is considered acceptable
  • New immigration rules: illegal representation and counseling; change in working conditions
