Biography
Mr. Braunstein is a senior associate in the San Francisco office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. A member of the Litigation Department, he counsels and represents local, national, and multinational clients within the financial services, insurance and real estate industries. Mr. Braunstein has successfully negotiated and litigated cases and claims, including class actions, for alleged misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, conspiracy, aiding and abetting, constructive trust, breach of contract, extra-contractual bad faith, declaratory and injunctive relief, subrogation, rescission, reformation, fraud, accounting, misrepresentation, concealment, negligence, conversion, unfair competition, breach of express and implied consumer warranties, site development and lessor/lessee disputes, property damage, violations of California's Consumer Legal Remedies Act ("CLRA"), and Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation ("SLAPP"). He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts throughout California, including three jury trials, and has compelled cases to arbitration before the NASD, now FINRA.Education
