Biography

Mr. Kinson is a senior associate in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Mr. Kinson focuses his practice exclusively on defending companies faced with complex employment discrimination litigation, wage and hour collective actions and single-plaintiff employment discrimination claims. Mr. Kinson has handled a wide variety of labor and employment matters including, employment discrimination claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act; Titles I and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA); and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) as well as their state law equivalents. Mr. Kinson also counsels employers and presents training designed to minimize the risks of litigation.

Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Mr. Kinson served in the United States Army Active Duty and later in the Illinois Army National Guard. He also clerked for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division.
