Biography

Mr. Modlin is a partner in the Corporate & Finance Practice Group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP and co-hiring partner of the New York office.  Mr. Modlin advises private and public companies on day-to-day operations, strategic corporate initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, financings, and capital market transactions.  He also represents financial institutions in a wide variety of matters, including in respect of their lending activities.  Mr. Modlin acts as primary outside counsel to large and small companies, advising boards of directors and senior executives in a wide range of corporate, securities, regulatory, finance, corporate governance, executive compensation, D&O, and intellectual property matters.  He also works with companies in restructuring their balance sheets, and negotiating with lenders and other stakeholders in respect thereof.
