Biography
Ms. Bennett is an associate in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation department in the Los Angeles office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Her practice focuses on advising both private and public sector entities regarding a variety of matters related to employee benefits such as retirement plans (including pension plans, 403(b) plans, and 401(k) plans). Ms. Bennett also is involved in advising multiemployer pension and welfare plans in all aspects of employee benefits. She has successfully aided clients in resolving retirement plan correction issues with the IRS through the Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System and fiduciary issues through the Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Program of the Department of Labor.
Ms. Bennett was named one of Southern California’s “Rising Stars” by the Law & Politics “Super Lawyers” publication in 2007 and 2008. She is also a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) Department of Labor Subcommittee.
