Biography
Kathleen Eggers Buchar is an associate in the Trusts & Estates practice group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. She focuses her practice on estate planning, tax, trust administration, and charitable planning. Ms. Buchar received her law degree from the University of Michigan (J.D., cum laude, 1996) and her undergraduate degree in accounting from Northeast Missouri State University (B.S., magna cum laude, 1993). She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, where she serves on the executive board of the Trust Law Committee. She is a frequent speaker on topics involving estate planning and tax issues for the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.Education
