Biography
Ms. Peterson is a partner in the San Francisco office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. As a member of the Labor and Employment Department, her practice focuses on wrongful termination, sexual harassment, race and national origin discrimination, gender and age discrimination and disability discrimination under both the ADA and California state law. She has given numerous speeches and presentations on a wide variety of employment related issues, including workplace privacy, reasonable accommodation and the interactive process under California law, newly enacted legislation effecting employers, and the prevention of harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Ms. Peterson has experience providing group training and one-on-one harassment prevention training for both managers and non-managerial employees. In addition to employment litigation, Ms. Peterson has extensive experience in premises liability and general litigation matters.Education
