Biography

Ms. Birenbaum is an associate in the Labor and Employment and Litigation Departments of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Prior to joining Seyfarth, Ms. Birenbaum practiced almost exclusively in the employment arena, representing individuals under various federal and state employment and labor laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act and the Texas Labor Code, as well as other statutes and common law claims, such as whistleblower claims, defamation, and breach of employment contract. Ms. Birenbaum was also formerly employed as a consultant to Lloyds of London, from 1998-2001, working with underwriters and companies in providing risk assessments and risk solutions for potential intellectual property exposures.
