Biography

Ms. Mones is a senior associate in the Atlanta office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Her practice focuses on federal labor and employment litigation, including matters arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disability Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and other federal and state statutes. Ms. Mones has experience defending corporate clients in all types of employment litigation from single plaintiff cases to class action and collective action lawsuits in both state and federal court. Ms. Mones also has experience representing clients before the National Association of Securities Dealers and in representing clients in alternative dispute resolution processes such as arbitration and mediation.

Ms. Mones also counsels employers on strategies for minimizing potential litigation, speaks at employment law seminars, and is regularly involved in providing advice on the practical and legal implications of everyday employment decisions. Ms. Mones is a trainer with Seyfarth Shaw at Work and provides on-site training to management and supervisory employees on workplace conduct and how to prevent legal claims.
