Biography
Mr. Mandel is a senior associate in the Los Angeles Labor and Employment Practice Group where he represents management in all aspects of labor and employment litigation in both federal and state courts.
Mr. Mandel’s practice includes representation of employers in single plaintiff and multi-plaintiff (including representative and class actions) wrongful termination, employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, and wage/hour cases. Mr. Mandel has experience in all phases of civil discovery, deposition, pre-trial, trial, and post-trial litigation, Most recently, in 2007 and 2008, Mr. Mandel second-chaired a three-week trial in a six-plaintiff case alleging various wage/hour violations.
Mr. Mandel also has significant appellate experience, including a published opinions in Page v. County of Los Angeles, 123 Cal.App.4th 1135, 20 Cal. Rptr. 3d 598 (2004).
