Biography
Mr. Pearlman is a senior associate in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. His practice is focused on representing management in class action and single-plaintiff employment litigation in federal and state courts across the country. He defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, restrictive covenant violations, and violations of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act’s whistleblower provisions. A member of the Trial Bar of the Northern District of Illinois, Mr. Pearlman has successfully tried cases to verdict and defended those verdicts on appeal. He has also served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the state of Illinois in employment litigation matters.
Mr. Pearlman also counsels employers to minimize the risk of litigation. In particular, he works with employers to develop policies and practices that comply with complex employment laws, and conduct sensitive internal investigations.
