Biography
Mr. Rodriguez is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment Department, specializing in both employment litigation and traditional labor matters. Mr. Rodriguez also represents corporate clients in commercial litigation and contract disputes.
Mr. Rodriguez assists employers with a full range of labor and employment law matters, including: jury and non-jury litigation in state and federal courts in discrimination cases based on age, race, gender, national origin and disability; proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, including unfair labor practice charges and union representation cases; grievance arbitrations; advising on collective bargaining; labor and employment law drafting and counseling; and administrative investigations and litigation before local, state and federal equal employment opportunity agencies.
The EEOC appointed Mr. Rodriguez to the EEOC Stakeholder Task Force for Georgia in 2008.
Mr. Rodriguez serves as a management trainer and has presented seminars and workshops in preventive labor relations, exercising management rights in a labor environment, and managing effectively within the equal employment opportunity laws. He has presented employee training in both English and Spanish, and frequently speaks before professional trade and business associations on employment and labor law topics.
Mr. Rodriguez is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese.
