Biography

Mr. Meyers is a partner in the employee benefits practice of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He advises senior executives and boards on all matters relating to executive compensation, including employment, severance, and change in control arrangements. Mr. Meyers consults with public and closely-held entities on the tax, corporate, and securities law aspects of equity compensation plans, including stock options, restricted stock, and employee stock purchase plans. Mr. Meyers regularly represents for profit and not-for-profit employers on the design, implementation, and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans (including ESOPs), nonqualified deferred compensation plans, and welfare benefit plans. He serves as ERISA counsel to investment committees, registered investment advisors, and private equity funds on ERISA fiduciary duties, prohibited transactions, and common control issues. Mr. Meyers is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, Employee Benefits Law.
