Biography

Mr. Lipsky is an associate in the New York Office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He is a member of the Labor & Employment Department. Mr. Lipsky has extensive experience in all areas of employment law, including discrimination and wrongful discharge cases, wage and hour cases, restrictive covenant and non-competition agreements, breach of contact cases, Department of Labor investigations, mediations and arbitrations. He regularly represents clients in the defense of complex wage and hour claims, including collective actions under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and class actions under the laws of many different states. He also advises clients on matters relating to harassment, the development and implementation of employment contracts, employee handbooks, personnel policies, reductions-in-force, independent contractor agreements and compliance with Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, USERRA, and other federal, state and local employment statutes.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Lipsky served as a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur D’Italia in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County.
