Biography
Mr. Gehrt is an associate in the Labor & Employment Department in the Chicago office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He has experience in arbitration cases, unfair labor practice charges, state and federal wage-hour litigation, and ERISA litigation. Mr. Gehrt is developing a practice which will focus on traditional labor law, ERISA litigation, and wage and hour law.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gehrt worked as a plant manager for a food manufacturing company in suburban Chicago. While employed there, he was actively involved in several successful campaigns to avoid unionization.
