Biography
Ms. Putman is an associate in the Litigation Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Her practice primarily concentrates on commercial litigation, but she also has experience in the bankruptcy context. She has handled many collection matters for commercial clients and has performed a number of foreclosures on real property with favorable results for the client. Ms. Putman also performs work for lending institutions enforcing loan agreements and leases as well as pursuing deficiency actions if appropriate. She has handled bankruptcy matters representing large and small creditors, with knowledge of the best avenues to recovery within the confines of the Bankruptcy Code. Her experience with bankruptcy has allowed her to be involved in two appeals to the Fifth Circuit asking the court to examine unique bankruptcy questions. She has experience in insurance coverage disputes, Texas lien laws, real estate transactions and issues in the construction industry.Education
