Biography

Mr. Burns is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP representing employers in all areas of employment litigation, including lawsuits brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, state fair employment actions and wrongful discharge actions. He has also advised employers in various aspects of employment law and human resources, including employee discipline, sexual harassment investigations, the Family and Medical Leave Act, employee handbooks, and employment applications.
