Biography
Mr. Villasenor is of counsel in the Los Angeles office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP where he represents employers in the defense of workers’ compensation, 132a discrimination, and serious and willful cases before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Mr. Villasenor has over 19 years of experience before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and has represented workers’ compensation carriers and self-insured employers throughout California in asbestos, orthopedic, internal and catastrophic injury cases. He has assisted in the creation and development of a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) to address prosecution of fraud claims. Mr. Villasenor also has extensive civil litigation experience, having handled subrogation matters throughout his career. Clients have included grocery chains, school districts, Veterans Administration, construction companies, and large corporations.Education
