Biography
Mr. Reed is a partner representing management in all aspects of labor and employment law in various industries since joining the firm in 1963.
Mr. Reed has lectured extensively throughout the country on labor-related issues. In addition to various trade associations and chambers of commerce, he has lectured for several state and national hospital associations, various nursing home associations, University of Iowa, Loyola University, DePaul University, Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and the American Management Association. Mr. Reed has represented the Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council and has given presentations at its seminars over the last thirty years.
Mr. Reed was a charter member of the Board of Governors of the Health Law Forum of the American Bar Association (now the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association) and the College of Labor and Employment Attorneys. He also served on the original American Hospital Association’s ad hoc committee on labor matters (now Labor Relations Advisory Committee) since 1980.
Mr. Reed has served as a member of the Boards and Executive Committees of Methodist Hospital of Chicago (1989 to present) and the Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council (1989-1997).
